LUKE WILL HAVE A GREAT DAY.

PRIVACY POLICY

Luke's Great Day Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of January 6, 2026.

Welcome to Luke's Great Day (referred to in this Privacy Policy as "LGD," "we," "us," or "our"). Our website LukesGreatDay.com (“Site”) will feature a playable web-based video game titled "Luke's Great Day 2," ("LGD2" or "the Game") a simple, G-rated, interactive role-playing game designed for children—and generally all ages—to enjoy. A highly informational reference guide for parents will be made available on our Site to help inform parents about the contents of the Game. Right now, the Game is unreleased but it has a projected release date of February 2, 2027. Playing LGD2 requires no account creation and the Game has no ads and no tracking. We take your privacy—and especially your children's privacy—very seriously.

Luke's Great Day is created, operated, and maintained by BAE HOVEN, a solo indie video game developer and music composer, based in the United States. His goal is to create fun and safe adventure games for children that feature original art and original soundtracks. His games are free-to-play, user-friendly, ad-free, and privacy-focused.

BAE HOVEN hopes that video games like Luke's Great Day 2 will spark creativity and help children develop intellectual skills like logic and reading. His approach to creating video games that everyone will enjoy is simply: "Happy times are key."

Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to providing you access to the information available on our website while respecting your privacy. We created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to clearly explain our privacy practices and provide you with total transparency about our collection, storage, and use thereof with respect to your use of our Site.

By accessing our Site and using the features, information, interactive games, and services offered by us (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy. This policy applies to the Site and all services offered by us. It does not apply to any other organizations which may link to us. By using our Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, do not use our Site.

Before you use or submit any information through or in connection with our Services, please carefully review this policy. By using any part of our Services, you understand that your information will be collected, used, and stored as outlined in this policy.

INFORMATION AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED (STANDARD WEB SERVER DATA)

Like almost every website, our web server automatically records basic, non-personal technical information when someone visits the Site. This includes:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • Date and time of visit
  • Pages viewed

This information is anonymous and cannot be linked to any individual person. We use it only for basic Site maintenance, to detect technical problems, and to prevent abuse (e.g. denial-of-service attacks). We do not share it with third parties, and we delete or anonymize it regularly.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM ADULTS (INCLUDING PARENTS/GUARDIANS)

The only way to contact us is through a publicly listed e-mail address (lukesgreatday@gmail.com).

The publicly listed e-mail address is available for adults, including parents and legal guardians. When you send us an e-mail, we may receive:

  • Your name or organization name (if you provide it)
  • Your e-mail address
  • The message you send

We do not collect any information through website forms, fields, or interactive elements (see the 'NON-FUNCTIONAL AND DECORATIVE FORM ELEMENTS' section below)."

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use this information only to respond to your inquiry. We aim to respond to genuine inquiries from adults (including parents/guardians). We do not add you to any mailing list, share your information with anyone else, or use it for marketing.

PERSONAL INFORMATION RETENTION

We keep e-mail messages only for legitimate business purposes or as long as reasonably needed for record-keeping (e.g. in case of follow-up questions—typically a few weeks or months), and then we delete them. We do not retain any other information.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY AND COPPA COMPLIANCE

This Site is intended for children under 13 and is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.

Because we do not collect any personal information from children, we are not required to obtain verifiable parental consent under COPPA. We have designed our Site this way on purpose to protect children's privacy.

We do not collect any personal information from children. On this website there are no accounts, data-transmitting contact forms, forums, or ways for children to submit data to us.

If a child somehow contacts us, we will not respond or retain the information.  We do not accept or respond to messages believed to be from children—if received, they will be deleted without response.

If you are a parent/guardian and believe we have inadvertently collected information from your child, please contact us immediately (using the details below), and we will delete it promptly.

WE DO NOT COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CHILDREN

We do not ask for, collect, or store any personal information from children who use the Site and children cannot create accounts.

NON-FUNCTIONAL AND DECORATIVE FORM ELEMENTS

For aesthetic, creative, or entertainment purposes, our website may display form fields, input boxes, buttons, contact forms, or other interactive-looking elements. These are entirely non-functional and simulated—designed solely to enhance the visual or thematic experience of the Site.

Attempting to enter information or "submit" any such elements will result in no action whatsoever. No data is transmitted, collected, processed, or stored by us or any third party. These features do not connect to any backend, server, or e-mail system.

The only way to contact us is by directly e-mailing lukesgreatday@gmail.com.

WE DO NOT PUBLISH THIRD PARTY LINKS ON OUR WEBSITE

This Website does not contain links to external websites. If we ever add any, we will update this policy.

WE DO NOT PUBLISH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON OUR SITE WITHOUT YOUR WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION

We do not publish the personal information that you have transmitted to us via e-mail without your written authorization.

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE DO SHARE WITH THIRD PARTIES

Any information that you transmit to us via e-mail to the Google Gmail Account of BAE HOVEN, the creator of Luke's Great Day (lukesgreatday@gmail.com), is processed and stored by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. E-mail transmission is not encrypted in transit by default.

COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We prioritize your privacy and do not deploy cookies or similar technologies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or data collection.

However, our web hosting provider automatically sets one strictly necessary technical cookie called dps_site_id. This cookie:

  • Helps with load balancing by identifying which server is handling your visit (to ensure the Site loads quickly and reliably).
  • Contains no personal information about you.
  • Is not used for tracking behavior, profiling, or any marketing purposes.
  • Is typically a session cookie (deleted when you close your browser).

We do not keep records of your access to our Site for any monitoring or analytics purposes.
